When I was a little girl all I wanted was to be a mommy when I grew up. It was that same love and desire for motherhood and children which awakened my life’s passion. In 2009 I began my birth career as a certified doula and have loved supporting families, helping them have the best birth and postpartum time possible. During my work I discovered placenta encapsulation and wanted to learn more. I decided to train as an encapsulation specialist in 2012 and have provided encapsulation services to almost 100 TN families since that time. After the birth of my sweet fifth baby in 2014, I was excited to be able to experience placenta encapsulation first hand. I noticed an easier recovery, increased energy level, and reduced anxiety and depression compared with my first four postpartum experiences. The difference was so incredible.
In the fall of 2015 I decided to continue my education in Placenta Arts and train with APPA. Even as an experienced Encapsulator I learned so much from the course and am happy to be an APPA Certified Placenta Arts Specialist, the first in TN. My goal is to share my passion for encapsulation with everyone and to provide placenta arts services with the highest quality and safety standards.
