My pregnancy and her birth transformed my life in a multitude of ways and created a passion for women’s empowerment and birth work for me. When she was almost a year old I decided that I wanted to stay home with her permanently and follow my passion so I became a birth doula. I decided adding placenta encapsulation to my services was ideal to assist my clients with their postpartum health and went searching for a training program that I could do at my own pace from home. I wanted to find one with a well rounded training and one where open communication was available with my mentors and peers. When I found out about APPA I knew it was the right fit for me and waited anxiously for the training to open up. It was one of the best business decisions I could have made and I’m so proud to be certified through this organization.

Jessica serves all of Los Angeles and Bakersfield
