Monarch Placenta Encapsulation
After going through the struggles of postpartum depression, I am passionate in helping new moms recover quicker and have a happier postpartum experience. I have been encapsulating since 2017 and have been APPA certified since 2018. I am so grateful to have learned the incredible skills of this practice and see the good that has come from it. It gives me great joy to connect personally with each new mom. My goal is for moms to focus on their new baby instead of difficulties that can sometimes come with the postpartum experience.

Tell us about your practice; where you’re located, some stats, etc. Tell us how your practice has changed or grown since joining APPA. Share some of your successes.
I am located in Clearfield Utah and serve all of Northern Utah. I first started out encapsulating with my sister-in-law back in 2017. Since then I’ve ventured out on my own and started my own placenta encapsulation company and named it Monarch Placenta Encapsulation.
Why did you choose to renew your APPAC?
I chose to get certified through the APPA program to gain the education needed to keep my clients and myself safe. APPA is a huge asset to me in being successful in my practice.
In what way has being an APPAC/being part of APPA benefited you as a placenta prep provider?
It gives me the confidence I need to answer my clients’ questions with ease and assurity.
Do you have any advice for those interested in becoming a placenta prep provider?
I highly recommend becoming an APPAC to have the knowledge and confidence needed in this line of work.
Why did you choose APPA as your certifying organization?
I felt like APPA exemplified the highest standards in the industry.
What did you like the most about APPA?
Whenever I have a question or run into a snag, I am always given the attention and help needed to continue on.
How has this training changed your practice or added to your knowledge?
APPA is always up to date on continuing education. I appreciate this, in that I feel like I learn something new each time I go through the course. This helps me feel confident in keeping my skills up in my own practice.
Is there anything else you’d like to add?
Thank you so much Jules and Caitlen for all of the support over the years. I truly feel like I’m a part of the APPA family.
