Placenta Encapsulation

Placenta encapsulation is the process in which the placenta is prepared in capsule form for consumption. Given to the mother in the weeks and following months, the placenta is believed to help promote healing and recovery.

After your birth, Kelsie picks up your placenta and processes it into capsules for your ingestion, yielding typically 100-200 capsules. Women who have encapsulated their placentas report increased milk production, more energy, and hormonal balancing.

Kelsie has been providing professional, safe and fast placenta encapsulation services to the Sioux Falls and surrounding area since 2018.  She is the first Association of Placenta Preparation Arts (APPA) certified Placenta Arts Specialist in South Dakota.
